Dick Petersen (USMC) hosted the first Veteran’s of Tega Cay Coffee in the Glennon Center today. This is a group of awe inspiring residents that have served our Country’s Military over the years. It was a veritable Who’s Who of Tega Cay. One Gentleman was on the beaches of Normandy on D-day. There were Pilots, Marines, Army, and Navy servicemen present. It was a humbling and pleasant experience. The group is planning to meet once per quarter. Dick is a Past Commander of the VFW and his willingness to honcho this is appreciated.
Pass the word. Tell your Fathers, tell your Sons, tell your Daughters. Come to the next meeting and share your service stories with some amazing individuals.
